
GNPD and GMEC open their doors for another set of scholars

Held last October 6, 2022, GNPD and GMEC granted another 30 students at Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP Bataan Campus) for their Scholarship Program at the Bataan Convention Center in The Oriental Bataan, Mariveles, Bataan.
The scholarship program of GNPD and GMEC which started in 2017 and 2014 respectively has so far assisted more than 50 scholars. It provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes full tuition fee coverage, monthly allowance, and board review fees for degrees that require a board exam after graduation.
To qualify for the program, the applicant must have a general weighted average (GWA) of at least 2.0 with no failing grades and incomplete grades and not have a record of any form of disciplinary action. One must be able to accomplish the application form and submit the requirements set by GNPD and GMEC.
“If it wasn’t for your hard work, passion, and courage toward your dream, you wouldn’t be where you are today.” AVP for Community Relations, Arcel Madrid stressed the importance of pursuing one’s dream.
During the awarding ceremony, messages from former scholars and graduates shared their experiences which bring a bucket of tears to both students and parents.
