QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of Engineering Course preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communications, or Chemical
• Professional Regulation Commission License is an advantage.
• At least three (3) years of experience gained from coal-fired power plant or related industry.

Knowledge of:

• Grid System Operation, Market Operation and Grid Code of the Philippines implementing rules and protocols.
• Emerson logic control for DCS.
• Safe start-up and shut down operations.
• LOTO and PTW procedures.
• Enterprise Asset Management (Maximo) System
• Steam boiler and steam turbine operation.
• Operation & switching of 69KV switchyard, 230KV GIS switchyard and LV/MV/HV transformers & switchgears.
• Isolation and de-isolation of 6KV & 380V switchgears and transformers.
• Reverse osmosis plant, water treatment plant and industrial wastewater treatment plant operations, baghouse and ash conveying plant, Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD), hydrogen generation plant, electro-chlorination plant and other balance of plant operations.
• DENR standards on flue gas emissions (Sulphur Oxides, Nitrogen Oxides, Carbon Monoxide, Opacity and other emission parameters).
• Root cause analysis (RCA) method.
• MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
