QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- License (Professional Regulation Commission).
- At least ten (10) years of solid experience from a Power Generation company or related industry.
Knowledge of:
- Coal-Fired Power Plant Operations and Maintenance best practices and procedures.
- Instrument and Control Theories and Principles.
- Project Management, plant shutdown, turn-around, and outage.
- Computerized maintenance & engineering systems (i.e., Maximo RBO, strategy optimizer, SAP)
- AutoCAD, MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety and reliability.
- Plant monitoring and commissioning
- Bid proposals of contractors and recommend technical solutions to improve quality and cost efficiency.
- Workshop management and workshop equipment.
- Engineering codes use in industrial setting that include but not limited to PSME, ASME, API and Dole standards.
- Contracts management and dealing with Procurement and contractors.
- Financial principles, Budget development and Cost control.
- Incident investigation & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method.
- Spares management for system performance.
- Reading and writing diagrams and instructions of the power plant.
- Understanding blueprints, P&ID, and as built drawings.
- Quality, Health, Safety and Environment management systems, safety rules and associated legislation.
