MARIVELES, BATAAN — Workplace safety took on a more powerful meaning last April 18, 2024, as GNPower Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD) and GNPower Mariveles Energy Center Ltd. Co. (GMEC) opened their doors for its Safety Culture Revolution launch, held strategically at the Workshop Area. The Safety Culture Revolution was a momentary event that marked a seismic change in GMEC, GNPD, and the AboitizPower Thermal Group's commitment to prioritizing employee safety and instilling a culture of vigilance and proactive risk management. Pursuing their goal of contributing to the environment and the community where they operate, GNPower Mariveles Energy Center Ltd. Co (GMEC) and GNPower Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD) together with Municipal Environment and Natural Resources of Mariveles held the annual tree planting activity ‘Oktreeberfest’ at Mt. Tarak in Barangay Alas-Asin, Mariveles, Bataan on October 18. 
GNPower Mariveles Energy Center Ltd. Co (GMEC) and GNPower Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD) employees held a gift-giving activity called “Plant-A-Love” for 110 children beneficiaries from Sitio Aguawan and MAAP Road at the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) Grandstand and New Parade Ground last December 1.
Last November 28, fifteen birthday celebrators from GNPower Mariveles Energy Center Ltd. Co. (GMEC) lifted the spirits of around 32 farmers in Barangay Dangcol, Balanga City, Bataan as part of the company’s Project Saysay. With their salakots and long-sleeved shirts on, the employee volunteers visited the beneficiary farmers in their fields, planting and harvesting corn, sweet potatoes, and sweet potato stems with the locals.
