QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduate with a Bachelor in Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- License (Professional Regulation Commission)
- At least ten (10) years of solid turbine auxiliary supervision/outage background experience from a Power Generation company
- Knowledge of Primavera is an advantage.
KNOWLEDGE OF
- Coal Fired Power Plant Operation
- Computerized maintenance & engineering systems (i.e. Maximo RBO, strategy optimizer,
SAP) - AutoCAD, MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Project
- Cost-Effective equipment modification to improve safety and reliability
- Project Specifications and managing projects using engineering principles and techniques.
- Plant monitoring and commissioning
- Bid proposals of contractors and recommend technical solutions to improve quality and cost efficiency.
- Workshop management and workshop equipment
- Contracts management and dealing with Procurement and contractors
- Financial principles, Budget development and Cost Control
- Incident investigation & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method.
- LOTO and PTW: preparation, issuance and cancellation
- Detailed spare management for system performance
- Standards, methods, and practice and material for maintenance of plant
- Reading and writing diagrams and instruction of power plant
- Quality, Health, Safety and Environment management systems, safety rules and associated legistlation
