“Para sa amin po, ginagawa lang po namin yung trabaho namin,” said one of the contractors while thanking the employee volunteers. “May makuha man po kami o wala, ayos lang po para sa amin. GMEC Equips Community to Combat Climate Change 

GNPower Mariveles Energy Center Ltd. Co. (GMEC) conducted an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Environmental Forum on Understanding Climate Change and Mangroves this May at Pulo Integrated School in Sitio Pulo, Barangay Kabalutan, Orani, Bataan. This is one of the company’s initiatives under its 6.8M Mangrove Adoption and Protection Project, a five-year program aiming to develop a five-hectare mangrove expanse in the said area, which is the first of its kind under Bataan’s environmental program Project Transform.

GMEC lifts the spirits of Bataan farmers with November Project Saysay

Last November 28, fifteen birthday celebrators from GNPower Mariveles Energy Center Ltd. Co. (GMEC) lifted the spirits of around 32 farmers in Barangay Dangcol, Balanga City, Bataan as part of the company’s Project Saysay. With their salakots and long-sleeved shirts on, the employee volunteers visited the beneficiary farmers in their fields, planting and harvesting corn, sweet potatoes, and sweet potato stems with the locals.
